Biography

The Miis were created around the release of the Nintendo Wii in 2006. Nintendo developed a slew of titles that used a new avatar system, the Miis, to introduce people to the console's motion control and have some first-party content at release. The basic idea being that players could create themselves and play various games with these avatars. As a matter of fact, Mii titles are among the most sold for the console, with Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort taking first and third place.

Interestingly enough, the Mii fighters would not make their debut appearance in Super Smash Bros Brawl, the Wii entry in the franchise. It would take until the release of the Wii U and Super Smash Bros 4 for the trio to make their way into the icon stages of Super Smash Bros. Each of the characters focuses on a particular playstyle, with some moves being similar, but not outright copies, of other characters.

Mii Brawler is a close-quarters specialist with good speed and recovery. Much of his kit revolves around powerful specials and decent combo potential to accompany one of the better edge guards in Super Smash Bros Ultimate. A central flaw of the character is their lack of KO tools at medium and high percentages, as his combos quickly drop off. In current competitive play, Mii Brawler is thought to be a jack of all trades face-to-face fighter, capable of adapting to tricky situations and making the most of their specials.
