Yasmine Arcade Story Snippet Revealed By Capcom

Capcom have let fans have a glimpse at the first couple of minutes of Yasmine’s arcade story ahead of her launch in August. 

Yasmine is the first character from season 4 of Street Fighter 6 and is also a brand new character to the franchise. She leads a season that will feature 3 debutants to the franchise; Yasmine, Arjun and Bosch, and a guest star in Tifa Lockhart from Final Fantasy. 

Yasmine is also the first Filipino character to join Street Fighter, and after her gameplay trailer, there has been a lot of excitement about the character. 

In the snippet we got for her arcade, we see that the motivation for her arc is the disappearance of her brother, whom she fondly refers to as her ‘Kuya.’ After he vanished, Yasmine falls into a deep depression and spends her days doomscrolling on Footube. She then comes across Manon’s channel and is inspired. It is at this point that the snippet ends. 

While doomscrolling, it’s possible to hear the voice of Blanka in one of the videos she watches which suggests that the Brazilian fighter also has a Footube channel. This is in keeping with Blanka’s job as a tour guide, as it is quite natural for someone in that environment to have a channel to promote what they do and bring in potential revenue through customers. 

Yasmine will release on the 3rd of August and will come with a large balance patch to kick off the new season of the game.
