Good 8 Squad Reveal Street Fighter League Japan Roster

Good 8 Squad have revealed their final roster for the upcoming Street Fighter League season, which starts next month.

The team, which won the tournament in 2024 and also claimed the Street Fighter League World Championship, is one of the strongest around. They have done well to keep the same roster from last year and will once again feature Gachikun, Kawano, Pugera, and Sahara, the reigning Capcom Cup champion.

The roster was unveiled at an event streamed on the team's YouTube channel, where they also revealed their new jersey, now sponsored by REGZA, a television brand in Japan.

The players also took part in an exhibition tournament, which Sahara won before being presented with a mini LED TV.

Gachikun will once again captain the team he has led since 2021, winning two championships along the way. Kawano will again be a reliable teammate capable of helping the team clutch out victories with his unpredictable play. Pugera has been excellent in team tournaments and has consistently been a steady points scorer, while Sahara, the newest member, is rapidly becoming one of the scene's biggest stars after bursting onto the Street Fighter 6 scene following his transition from Fortnite.

He finished as one of the highest point scorers across the league with 120 points, behind only Kei.B, who topped the standings with 140 points and was crowned the season MVP.

Street Fighter League Japan will begin on August 25.
