Street Fighter League Japan 2026 Schedule Officially Revealed

The schedule for the upcoming Street Fighter League Japan season has now been revealed.

SFL is an annual competition featuring 12 teams split across two leagues, with six teams advancing to the playoffs. One team will ultimately emerge victorious and qualify for the SFL World Championship, which will take place during Capcom Cup 13.

The 12 participating teams have all announced their rosters, with some eye-catching additions, including MenaRD linking up with ZETA DIVISION.

The schedule begins with what is being called the "Division Showdown," a showcase event between League S and League F that will feature all 48 players in the league. Tickets are already on sale, and the event will take place on August 10 and 11, 2026.

The weekly league season will kick off on August 25 and run for approximately 10 to 12 weeks. The playoffs will then be held on January 10, 2027, with the Grand Final taking place on February 23, 2027, just weeks before Capcom Cup 13.

It is expected that the preseason event, playoffs, and Grand Final will all be behind a paywall, while the regular season will once again be available for free on the Capcom Fighters YouTube and Twitch channels.
