Higuchi Claims Final Topanga Championship Finals Spot

ZETA DIVISION's Higuchi is the final player to qualify for the final stage of the ongoing Topanga Championship.

Higuchi was involved in a tense tiebreaker match against VARREL's Mizuha, winning the set 7-3 to book his place in the finals.

The Topanga Championship is an annual event that culminates in a final league stage, where seven players face each other in FT7 matches, with the player who records the most wins crowned champion.

Higuchi advanced from the Beginning Stage in second place before finishing fourth in the Advanced Stage behind Shuto, MenaRD, and Shigematsu.

He was clearly excited about qualifying, noting that it was his first finals appearance in five years.

He wrote on X, "Yay! We beat Mizuha-san 7-3 and made it to the Topa-chan offline finals for the first time in 5 years!!

"The finals opponent is also a tough one, but I'll keep pushing forward!

The final stage will take place between August 21 and 23, 2026.
