Tokido To Visit India For Cultural Exchange Tourney
The Indian FGC is delighted to welcome a legend

The FGC's ever-expanding reach, one of the greatest players of all time for Street Fighter, Tokido, will make his way to India to meet with the Indian FGC and play in a tournament with them.

The Indian FGC made this announcement as they revealed plans for their Versus Festival, a fighting game event that will feature Street Fighter 6, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes.

The event, which will be part of the Japan Habba cultural exchange program, has been held for more than 15 years and for their 2025 edition, the Indians are looking to go big by bringing some top Japanese talent to play with the community.

Apart from Tokido, the community has also invited Japanese Smash players Takera, and Neo to participate in their tournament.

Tokido confirmed this trip and stated that it was a visit he had always wanted to make.

The Street Fighter 6 tournament bracket for this event currently sits at 37 people with Capcom Cup alumnus, Shadoken, also billed to play in the competition.

Tokido is currently preparing for the final day of the Street Fighter League Japan regular season with his team, REJECT, sitting comfortably in top spot with all indications being they will finish there.
