Japanese legend and pro player Tokido has emerged as the winner of the recently concluded CEO 2026 tournament. He defeated Booce in the Grand Final to put his name in the history books and win his first major of 2026.
Tokido has been using JP and even brought in Kakeru as his coach, steadily improving with the character. It seems his hard work has now paid off with this stunning victory. The win would normally have earned him a spot at Capcom Cup, but this was not the case as he is already qualified through the Street Fighter League World Championship, which his former team, REJECT, won. This ensured that Capcom Cup spots were already secured for Tokido, Daigo, LeShar, and Fuudo.
The Capcom Cup spot therefore went to the second-highest-placed player, Booce, who was phenomenal throughout the tournament following another Top 8 finish at the Esports World Cup.
Tokido posted a short message on social media following the win, thanking everyone who had supported him so far. He also promised not to become complacent and said he would continue to work hard to win more.
