One of the great things about fighting games is the emotions it inspires and the creativity it evokes. This has led to some stunning creations by fans of games who want to explore their love for the game and its story.
Last year was the 35th anniversary of Street Fighter, and Capcom celebrated this through various means, including various exhibitions where people got to have once-in-a-lifetime experiences. A fan of the game, Jeremy Mansford, celebrated in his own way— by creating an animated short.
The short video, which is less than two minutes long featured Ryu primarily as he experienced what can only be described as a fever dream and an internal struggle. The music was produced by Jeremy who is a New Zealander and a fantastic video director. Vo Williams did the voice-over work, and the frenetic energy of the video was matched perfectly by Williams.
The video has been picking up steam recently and currently has over 7,000 views and is sure to garner more as time goes on.
