Street Fighter Anniversary Concert Slated for January 2023

There will be a live concert celebrating Street Fighter's 35th anniversary in Shibuya, Japan. Street Fighter was first published in 1987 and has gone on to become one of the most influential games of all time. In 35 years, it has spun several great memories and tournament moments, all of which has been commemorated this year. 

Starting from January 2022, Capcom has gone all out to celebrate the iconic game including several events and showcases, some of which have even featured Street Fighter 6 test builds for fans to play. One of such events will be holding later this month in Osaka. It will be the final exhibit for the year as the concert will happen in January 2023.

Fans who are interested in witnessing the concert but can't be in Japan will have an amazing opportunity to watch the event as it will be live-streamed worldwide. However, potential audience members will need to purchase a ticket. 

Capcom have announced that members of CAP-JAMS, Capcom's "official band" will perform along with several other musicians.

According to Capcom Japan, "A music event for Street Fighter will be held for the first time. The concert will be live streamed, and you will be able to watch the concert with a livestream ticket. A special band that consists of the performers who are active in many different fields and CAP-JAMS, Capcom's official band, will be performing at the concert!"

The event will take place on the 29th of January 2023, at 18:00 JST, at the Line Cube Shibuya theater in Japan
