Tekken 8 1.03.01 Patch Notes Adds Tekken Fight Pass

Eddy Gordo is now a playable character in Tekken 8. 

The capoeira practitioner is the latest character to join the Tekken 8 cast and with him come some changes to the game in the 1.03.01 Patch. One of the major updates is that Tekken now has a fighter's pass, which is very similar to battle passes which several games have. This means players get daily missions which if fulfilled enables them to get some items within the game. 

Naturally, there is an option to pay for stuff which players have criticised as a means to take more money from fans. 

There were  some other changes including some to chatracters like Azucena who was nerfed a bit while Dargunov who was surprisingly one of the best characters early on, also suffered a nerf to his throw which no longer allows a free B4 hit after. 

There were nerfs to Reina, and some buffs for Lars, and Panda. 

There will be a much bigger patch after Evo Japan which could see a lot more changes to the game. You can check out all the changes on the official Bandai Namco site.
