Tekken 8 Patch 2.03.02 Released in Time for Evo 2025

Bandai Namco has released what is likely to be, provided no hotfixes are needed, the last patch before Evo Las Vegas 2025. It mostly features a number of quality of life and general improvements ot the game, alongside more minor balance adjustments.

Replays & Ghost Data

• Downloaded Replays / My Replay & Tips: Replays from before the update will no longer work.
• Online Replays: All pre-update replays will be deleted.
• Super Ghost Battle / Ghost Match: Ghost behavior will update to reflect character adjustments, but ghost data won’t be deleted.

Ranked Match Improvements

• Matchmaking conditions adjusted to reduce long wait times in certain ranks.
• The system will now expand search parameters faster to find matches.
• Further tweaks may follow based on player feedback.

Character Adjustments

• Fixes for unintended move behavior and bugs from the last update (Ver. 2.03.01).
• No balance changes in the August (Ver. 2.04) update due to upcoming esports tournaments.
• September (Ver. 2.05) will focus on bug fixes rather than major balance changes.
