Tekken 7 REV Major 2023 Results: The Tigers
These big cats come when they are the most needed

This tournament was pretty important for the Tekken World Tour — it was one of only two Master Events left for 2023.

Still, the Tekken 7 crew at REV Major 2023 missed some very big names from Pakistan, including the global standing leader, Arslan Ash, due to visa issues.

Competitors from South Korea did not have this problem, and they totally dominated in the Top 8 part.

Only one player from Japan reached Top 8 — AO was in the lower bracket and finished 5th.

In the Winners Semi, ULSAN got a clear victory over CBM. These players are 2nd and 3rd in the TWT 2023 standings (as for this tournament), so their fight was pretty important.

ULSAN started the Winners Final with the same character as in the Semi, Bob, but lost game one to Yeonarang and switched to Kazumi. That helped, but the match was still pretty close.

CBM played Noctis throughout the whole Top 8 part. He did not change the character in the match vs Hwoarang of Yeonarang — and won this tough fight.

CBM was amazingly strong in the Grand Final. ULSAN switched from Bob to Feng but still won no games. The bracket was reset.

Kazumi and her tigers helped ULSAN change the situation in the Grand Final Reset. This was still a very close fight, but the tigers certainly helped a lot.

ULSAN is the Tekken 7 Champion at REV Major 2023. Congratulations.

This victory helped ULSAN strengthen his advantage over CBM in the TWT 2023 standings. Still, we have one more Master Event left, Thaiger Uppercut 2023 in Thailand, on November 3-5.
