Team IBUSHIGIN Announce Street Fighter League Japan Roster
Kakeru will be joined by very able team mates for their first SFL Japan

Fukushima representatives, IBUSHIGIN, have released their roster for the upcoming Street Fighter League Japan season. The team will be represented by their poster boy, Kakeru who took 2nd place at Evo Japan, and won Blink Respawn with his incredible JP. Also in the team are Kabe, who now goes by the name, COSA, who was in SFL Japan last year as part of the Sainshunkan Sol Kumamoto team.

Interestingly, the other two members of the team, Sasamo and Yanai, also have some experience with SFL with Saishunkan Sol with Sasamo spending the first half of the season with SS Kumamoto, while Yanai was part of the team in 2021.

Kakeru therefore, is the only one with no SFL experience, but this is a good thing as he brings some fresh energy to the team that looks to do some serious damage this season.

IBUSHIGIN announced their roster with a nice video where all the players got to talk about their motivations.

SFL Japan is bigger than ever this year with 12 teams competing in two leagues with the top two teams from each league qualifying for the playoffs before a winner is crowned who will represent Japan at the next Street Fighter League World Championship which takes place in Japan in 2025.
