Street Fighter League Japan Partners With V-Tuber Group, VSPO
They are here to push Street Fighter 6 even further into the stratosphere in Japan

Street Fighter League Japan kicks off tomorrow, August 29, 2025, and excitement for the new season has reached fever pitch.

With 12 teams divided into two leagues vying for a single championship spot, fans are set to witness some of the very best Street Fighter competition available.

As part of efforts to make this season even more engaging, Capcom has announced a partnership with the VTuber group VSPO. The group has become highly popular in the VTuber space and has a significant following in Japan.

VSPO has been named the official support ambassador for Street Fighter League Japan. While the exact details of their role are still somewhat unclear, a blog post released by PR Times explained that activities will include hosting watch parties with their viewers and conducting interviews with players.

Three specific VTubers have been chosen as ambassadors: Kisaragi Ren, Choya Hanabi, and Amayui Moka. All three have experience with Street Fighter 6 and are recognized as strong players.

News of Capcom’s partnership with VSPO has been received positively within Japan’s fighting game community, with many eager to see how the collaboration could further boost the game’s popularity.

The opening day of Street Fighter League Japan will feature several exciting matches, including a highlight bout between Good 8 Squad and Crazy Raccoon.
