GQ released the list of the 100 greatest video games of all time, ranked by industry experts.
This list has been based on the voting results among 239 game developers, streamers, directors, writers, and more. A general list of titles mentioned among the participants more than once was compiled.
In the final rating, there was only one fighting game: it turned out to be Street Fighter II.
In 1991, Capcom revolutionized the timing and accuracy of the arcade stick's response to the player's actions, radically changing the entire fighting game genre. For this, Street Fighter II was allocated to the 27th place on this list.
