Capcom Announce Long-Awaited Costume 4 For Street Fighter 6

The 40-minute showcase gave fans a glimpse of some of the things to come for Capcom in the near future. Of great interest to the FGC was the segment dedicated to Street Fighter 6. The biggest news was a teaser trailer for the upcoming character Sagat, in which fans got to see the Muay Thai legend in his new design.

It was announced that Sagat will join the roster on the 5th of August, just after Evo 2025.

Also of note was the announcement of a slight adjustment to the Fighter Pass system. Starting from the next Battle Pass, players will not only get avatar skins but will also be able to unlock new colors for characters in Fighting Ground. The showcase featured Ryu in his classic Super Street Fighter II gray outfit. It also showcased Ken in an alternate color for his Costume 3.

Fans were very excited at the announcement of the long-awaited Costume 4. Street Fighter will now have fourth costumes for seven members of the roster, including Chun-Li, Jamie, Luke, A.K.I., Manon, Cammy, and Kimberly.

The costumes will be beachwear and are set to release sometime in the summer. Every other character will also receive a fourth costume at a later date.

Many fans had hoped for more announcements and perhaps even some Sagat gameplay, but were at least slightly mollified by the new additions coming to the game.
