Team Riddles Win Sajam Slam 5
Another successful Sajam Slam is down in the record books

The fifth edition of Sajam Slam has come to an end, with Team Riddles emerging victorious after a few days of intense action.

Team Riddles defeated Team Brian_F in the grand final, first resetting the bracket before securing a narrow win. The top eight bracket introduced a rule where the first team to reach three wins would be declared the winner of the set. This was designed to ensure that coaches were only used as tie-breakers when necessary, creating a format that felt fairer in determining the overall best team.

The top two teams earned a trip to EVO 2025.

The Sajam Slam is a tournament that brings pro players and streamers together. It serves as a platform for gamers regularly associated with Street Fighter to become more involved with the game. The event has been a major success and is one of the key reasons behind Street Fighter 6’s growing popularity in North America.

Its Japanese counterparts, Crazy Raccoon Cup and Reject Fight Night, have also played a significant role in popularizing Street Fighter in Japan.

Brian_F had previously announced that this would be his final Sajam Slam appearance, stepping down after this edition to make room for another coach. His team did their best to give him a fitting send-off by reaching the grand final and coming very close to winning it all, an achievement that would have capped off his run as coach in remarkable fashion.

The win marks a significant milestone for Riddles, one of the first-time coaches brought in for this edition of Sajam Slam.
