Street Fighter 6 continues to be a success in Japan as more and more people are getting into the game. This has a lot to do with things like Crazy Raccoon Cup and Reject Fight Night which have really amped up the popularity of SF6.
The second edition of the Crazy Raccoon Cup took place at the Tokyo Game Show and it was once again a success as the venue was sold out with fans wanting to see their favourite streamers play the game. This has caused Street Fighter to see a swell in downloads and purchases. The biggest reflection of this was a tweet from HiFight which showed that Street Fighter 6 is the top selling game in Japan right now over games like Apex Legends, Cyberpunk 2077, and EA Sports FC 24.
Street Fighter was already popular in Japan, but with the help of events like CR Cup, the game moved up five spots to top the highest grossing games' list.
