Street Fighter 6 Finally Launching an Open Beta Next Week

Capcom has finally announced the dates for the Street Fighter 6 Open Beta. Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S users can participate in several online modes from May 19 at Midnight PDT / 3 am EDT / 2 am CT to May 22.

The developers plan to make available eight characters from the base roster, as in the latest build of the closed beta version of the fighting game. Among them are Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Guile, Jamie, Juri, Kimberly, and Luke. 

Last week, Capcom officially announced that users playing a hacked PC version of the Closed Beta would be banned from the Capcom Pro Tour. The content of the public build is also connected with this. Unfortunately, PlayStation 4 owners will not be able to test the multiplayer and will have to wait for the next round of testing.

Street Fighter 6 will come out on the 2nd of June 2023, and it'll be interesting to see how this develops and if anyone will actually be banned.
