Do you enjoy close Finals in fighting esports?
Soulcalibur has a very strong community core, so the game is highlighted at quite a few online events. Madhouse Rumble is a regular competition, with many super strong players and tons of great matches.
Let’s take a look at what’s going on within the esports dimension of SC6.
SC6 at Madhouse Rumble Week 19 | Top 4
There is no surprise that Incendiate confidently reached the Winners Final — he is one of the best SC6 players in the world (arguably the best, especially after his victory at The Mixup 2023). Incendiate defeated three opponents and lost one game only to MFcoffee. But then…
Well, we love it when that “but then” happens — it means we have some competitive drama on the horizon.
Jimbonator had similar success on his run to the Winners Final. And he was very prepared to fight Incendiate. This was a match of Haohmaru vs Xianghua. Jimbonator lost game 1 but then reached the match point. Still, Incendiate made it through really tough rounds and proceeded to the Grand Final on the Winners side. Did that help him win the tournament?
Jimbonator defeated Legit in the Losers Final to proceed to the Grand Final too.
SC6 at Madhouse Rumble Week 19 | Grand Final
The match started promising for Jimbonator — he won two games in a row. This advantage was enough to reset the brackets, even if Incendiate managed to make the score 2:2 (perhaps, thanks to switching to Ivy).
In the Grand Final Reset, Incendiate returned to playing Xianghua. Again Jimbonator got a 2:0 advantage, and this time, he did not lose it.
Jimbonator is the Winner of the SC6 tournament Madhouse Rumble Week 19. Congratulations!
