Sonix Wins The Coinbox #79

The Coinbox is a weekly tournament hosted by Team Liquid. In every odd edition, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is played, and in every even edition, players compete in Super Smash Bros. Melee. This week, the Coinbox #79 had a hefty prize pool of $3,000, and we witnessed one of the great runs through the lower bracket.

Carlos "Sonix" Pérez lost his first match in the top-96 bracket and had to walk through a long road through the lower bracket to win a tournament. He won 11 matches in a row to become the champion! In total, he played 16 sets over the course of one day!
