SNK Announce Special Character Reveal For Evo 2024

Last week, Capcom announced the second season of Street Fighter 6 and the addition of four new characters: M. Bison (or Dictator), Elena, and to everyone's absolute shock, Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui from the SNK universe. 

This move represents the first time Street Fighter will be having a guest charcter from outside the Capcom franchise and is a big deal for fans. While speculation is rife as to how Terry and Mai will be incorporated into Street Fighter, it seems that SNK might be cooking up something of their own. 

They announced on their X page that there is a new DLC character coming to the game and that details will be revealed at Evo 2024 which is happening next month. 

In all honesty, this could be anyone, but a lot of fans are convinced that it will be a Street Fighter character. Street Fighter characters have already appeared in Smash Bros. Tekken 7, and even Power Rangers, but it would be the first time someone from the SF world will appear in an SNK game. 

This could be strengthened by the fact that the Street Fighter developers have been working with SNK for a while on having the cross over, so it is not impossible for some of the Street Fighter characters to make the move to the other side too.
