The faces of the Street Fighter 6 development team, Shuhei Matsumoto and Takayuki Nakayama, have sat down for an interview about the second season of Street Fighter 6 with Japanese outlet, Famitsu.
The release of Street Fighter 6 season 2 has been met with mostly positive feelings as fans are excited at the notion of Street Fighter finally having guest characters and the return of Bison and Elena.
In the interview, the developers talked about Bison's return and explained that his body is the same one from Street Fighter V only that he has lost his memories. This squashes speculation about using another body for Bison. They also explained that he had been planned for quite a long time, and was even the main character for Matsumoto from Street Fighter IV meaning that there was some favor shown to the dictator.
As regards his fight style, the developers mentioned that he would be more of a pressure character as was evident in his trailer. They also explained that they took away some of his more mystical elements like his teleport and instead focused on him as a fighter which would explain his incredible physical prowess displayed in his trailer.
