SFL US: Three More Teams Announce Full Rosters Ahead of New Season
The names being mentioned promise incredible action

Three more teams have revealed their full rosters for Street Fighter League US, which begins next month. Following the earlier announcements of Team Falcons and 2Game, last season’s champions FlyQuest, former world champions Bandits, and veteran competitors Red Rooster have now confirmed the players who will be competing this season.

Red Rooster might be the team that turns the most heads. Historically, the squad led by MonoPR has never made the SFL playoffs despite fielding talented players. This year, the organization has gone through a complete overhaul, with Mono being the only returning member from previous iterations. Longtime teammate Ajax Fidelity is out, and the new roster features Crossover, one of South America’s strongest competitors, Chris Wong, the Hong Kong standout and runner-up at the first-ever Street Fighter 6 Capcom Cup, and Craime, the young prodigy from Chile. On paper, this is the most competitive Red Rooster lineup to date. With this new roster, a playoff berth is no longer a distant dream.

The next reveal came from Bandits Gaming. The 2023 Street Fighter League World Champions return with a powerful roster built around MenaRD, widely regarded as one of the greatest Street Fighter players in history. Alongside him are returning teammates Caba and Chris Tartarian, who rejoins the team after spending last season in a coaching role. The final addition is Booce, a North American player who was one of the few to challenge Mena consistently last season. In typical fashion, Mena has once again recruited one of his toughest rivals, just as he did with Zhen the previous year. With Mena’s recent dominance, including two Evo titles this year, Bandits enter the season as one of the favorites.

FlyQuest, last year’s champions, are likely to be their main challengers. The team has made some notable roster changes with ChrisCCH and Shine departing, replaced by Nephew and Riddles, two players who bring a strong mix of consistency and explosive potential. Psycho, one of last season’s breakout performers, remains with the team, while Punk will once again serve as captain. Coming off an Evo victory and an SFL title in the same year, Punk and his team have every reason to believe they can repeat their success.

With five teams now announced, attention turns to the two remaining squads: KuaiSho Gaming and Shopify Rebellion. Their rosters should be revealed soon, setting the stage for another season of high-level competition in Street Fighter League US.
