Street Fighter 6 Pro Tako Leaves REJECT Youth Ahead of Transfer
The talented player will have no lack of suitors for his skill

Japanese Street Fighter 6 and Dragon Ball FighterZ player Tako will be leaving REJECT’s Youth division to pursue other opportunities.

Tako joined the REJECT Youth division along with Eguto, Hinao, and Yujiro in 2025, but has had opportunities to perform as he would like hard to come by. Eguto left the team a little earlier, while Hinao has been promoted to the main team, where he is participating in their Street Fighter League Japan campaign.

In REJECT’s announcement of the departure, they put up a post on X, which has been translated from Japanese:

“Following discussions between the player themselves, who is seeking new opportunities for active participation, and the team hoping for support, it has been decided that player tako (@tako956402) will be leaving REJECT.

“For recent tournaments such as UFA, participation will be made possible through support from prospective transfer destinations. REJECT will continue to provide support to tako until the transfer is complete, allowing the player to perform to the fullest.

“We express our gratitude for tako's achievements to date and sincerely wish them success in their new endeavors.”

Tako also had a few words, which he expressed in a post of his own, where he said:

“I will be leaving REJECT and transferring to another team this time.

“Since joining as REJECT YOUTH, I've been able to have many wonderful experiences. Being on the same team with people I truly admire, and being known by so many others, I'm truly filled with nothing but gratitude.

“I wish for REJECT to continue developing even further.

“Thank you so much for everything!!!”

Tako’s destination is unknown, but it seems likely that he has several prospects for such a talent as himself.
