Street Fighter League EMEAA Playoff Bracket Decided

The debut season of the newly expanded Street Fighter League EMEAA has just concluded its regular season with GTW surprisingly sitting at the top. 

This new season allowed for players from Europe, the Middle East and Asia (apart from Japan) to participate. There were 6 teams participating:

• GTW
• Red Dunes Esports
• Yesports
• MOUZ
• Falcons
• MVS

The players from Red Dunes are the defending champions of SFL EU which was called Ninjas in Pyjamas at the time. But again, Big Bird, AngryBird, Phenom, and Juicy Joe collaborated and were expected to take points. But, at the end of the day, it was GTW with Xian, Zhen, Hope, and Bravery that took the top spot with 260 points. 

As the format goes, the top 4 teams on the table make it to the playoffs with the top rated team given a spot in Grand Final. This means, the teams that finish 3rd and 4th will face each other with the winner taking on the team that took 2nd place and the winner going on to face GTW in the Grand Final. 

In this case, MVS and Yesports in 3rd and 4th will play and the winner will take on Red Dunes and the winner will then face GTW. 

Unfortunately this means that both MOUZ and Falcons failed to qualify. For Falcons, it is a big blow as they also partook in SFL USA last season and also didn't make the playoffs, so missing out again must be a pain. For MOUZ, it must have been a shock as they have been regulars in the playoffs, but some poor form from their talisman, EndingWalker, meant the team just didn't have enough to get the wins they needed. 

Alex, C. Viper, and A.K.I. also really shone in the regular season. Both Problem-X and HotDog29 used Alex to great effect while Big Bird's Viper was a threat in every single match he played. Then there was A.K.I piloted by Hope. 

Hope is relatively new to the scene. He had his breakout performance at Evo Japan 2026 making it into top 8 with a Modern A.K.I which many people weren't ready for. Coming into SFL, not too many people had seen enough of him, but with 7 wins and only 1 defeat, he really gave a good account of himself and more people will look forward to seeing him in the future.

The Grand Final for SFL EMEAA will take place on the 24th of October 2026 at the Side Quest Arena during MCM London Comic Con.
