PlayStation Tournaments Road To Evo 2023: Results

Evo 2023 is just around a month away, and the fighting games community is actively preparing for it. One of the important steps in this preparation was the Road To Evo series, organized by PlayStation Tournaments. In fact, for some players, it might be the only chance to make such an expensive trip possible.

The series happened for quite a few games in quite a few regions. In this post on DashFight, we would like to highlight only some of the tourneys. Perhaps, you will be interested in following the winners during the actual Evo tournament.

Dragon Ball FighterZ — Europe | Road to Evo 2023

Gropis won this tournament. In the Grand Final, Yasha reset the bracket, but Gropis was better in the decisive match.

Dragon Ball FighterZ — North America | Road to Evo 2023

DM Danny is often the winner of PlayStation Fight Night Invitationals. And the player celebrated victory here as well. In the Grand Final, Danny defeated LEXXLLUTHOR.

Guilty Gear Strive — Europe | Road to Evo 2023

Tiger_Pop had a pretty close Winners Final against Jetstream and then more confidently defeated the same opponent in the Grand Final

Guilty Gear Strive — North America | Road to Evo 2023

DM Danny decided to shine again. The DBFZ winner also dominated in the GGST tournament, having only 3:0s in the brackets.

Mortal Kombat 11 — Europe | Road to Evo 2023

K-TOP lost to MakoraN in the Winners Final but then proceeded to the Grand Final through the Losers side, reset the bracket, and got this ticket to Evo 2023. (The video has age restrictions on YT, which sounds of for MK11, so you could find the stream here)

Mortal Kombat 11 — North America | Road to Evo 2023

To win the tournament, ScarCA- got two clear victories against KingGamebler; in the Winners Final and the Grand Final. (The video has age restrictions on YT, so you could find the stream here)

Tekken 7 — North America | Road to Evo 2023

Joey_Fury had two victorious matches against FatherKingOne — Winners Final and Grand Final — and won the tournament.

Evo 2023 is going to be remarkable this year. Street Fighter 6 got a phenomenal number of entrants. DBFZ has a start of the next (final?) World Tour. For GGST and Tekken 7, it’s part of thier World Tours as well.
