Combo Breaker 2022 is coming ever closer and it is gearing up to be quite the spectacle. According to a post on their Twitter page, Combo Breaker have announced the final numbers for their registration exercise and the results show that over 1000 people signed up for Guilty Gear -STRIVE-. This makes it the biggest game at the event and it is miles ahead of the next most registered game— King of Fighters XV.
There'll be 24 fighting games on display and while some games received less entries than others, there is a respectable player pool for each game. Apart from GGST, KOFXV had over 600 entrants while the more traditional 'big games,' Street Fighter, Tekken 7, and Mortal Kombat 11 had 440, 560, and 154 entrants respectively. The lowest game was Brawlhalla which had only 16 entrants.
