Evo France 2026: All Winners and Results From the 8 Mainstage Games
An exciting time all around

Evo France 2026 is over after three days of exciting matches that have given us winners across several games, including the eight games on the main stage.

Street Fighter 6’s Top 8 was the standout, with so many hype matches. With several circuits also ending with this tournament, it was a chance for many players to seal their qualification spots in the major tournaments for their respective games.

Here are all the winners for each of the mainstage games.

Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising

Winner: ZanDori (Japan)

Qualified for Cygames Cup 2027

Japan’s ZanDori was the winner for GBVSR, defeating Monarch to claim the title. He now qualifies for Cygames Cup 2027, hoping to go one step further after his second-place finish last time around. He is also the current Arc System Works World Tour champion for GBVSR and will now look ahead to further dominance.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves

Winner: GO1 (Japan)

Qualified for SNK World Championship 2026 Finals

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves saw GO1 return to the biggest stages with yet another Evo championship. GO1 was victorious over mi2ha4, who played really well but perhaps got a little nervous at the end, giving up a lead that GO1 capitalized on to snatch the win.

He is now qualified for the SNK World Championship 2026 Finals, where he will, like ZanDori, hope to finally win his first SWC. Last year, he lost to Mexico’s Dark Angel, but he seems sufficiently recovered to make history once again.

Guilty Gear -STRIVE-

Winner: Nitro (USA)

Nitro claimed his second Evo win following his 2024 triumph in Las Vegas. He defeated Senegal’s Verix to claim the championship, but the African player was the one who claimed the automatic qualification spot for the Arc World Tour (AWT) Championship, since Nitro had already secured a qualification spot via Combo Breaker.

Nitro had a great tournament, as he also made Top 8 for Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, but is yet to qualify for the AWT Championship for that game.

Avatar Legends

Winner: Pepe Uehara (Uruguay)

Avatar Legends enjoyed its first recognized Tier 1 tournament at Evo France 2026, and Uruguayan player Pepe Uehara made history as the first Evo winner for the game.

He defeated France’s Raymond Buller in an interesting grand final. There is currently no official circuit for Avatar Legends, although changes have been announced for the game that could help boost its relevance even further.

2XKO

Winner: Bleed (USA)

Bleed, the young hero of 2XKO, was the champion at Evo France 2026, defeating Hikari to claim his second major win after Frosty Faustings.

2XKO might be shutting down support for the game in December, but it is likely to continue having tournaments. This does mean there will no longer be an official tournament circuit, but it is possible for the game to live on with the help of its many fans. Bleed has been one of the pioneers of the game, and his expertise with Ekko and Illaoi is unmatched.

Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls

Winner: Zando (Israel)

Qualified for AWT 2026-2027

Zando, a multi-game specialist, is the winner of the first Evo tournament for Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls. Using Magik as his main, he defeated Japanese pro YMST, who also qualified for the inaugural AWT Championship for the game.

It was an exciting Top 8, which saw YMST defeat Zando initially before the latter went on an incredible run to force a grand final rematch against YMST. Zando then comprehensively defeated him 3-1 and 3-0 to win the tournament.

There might be complaints about Tokon as a game, but Zando’s persistence has paid off. With new characters joining the game and changes to its gameplay, this could be the start of a new era for Tokon.

Tekken 8

Winner: JeonDDing (South Korea)

Qualified for Tekken World Tour Finals 2026

South Korea’s JeonDDing won his first-ever Evo in his career in a pulsating grand final against fellow countryman LowHigh. JeonDDing has been a high-level player since the days of Tekken Tag and is a fan favourite. However, when it comes to the biggest titles, he hasn’t had the same success as some of his contemporaries.

He came super close last year but was defeated in the grand final by Arslan Ash, who clinched his record-breaking seventh Evo title. He was also in the running at Evo Las Vegas this year but could only manage fourth place.

With the crowd behind him and some insane play with his Eddy Gordo, JeonDDing overcame the odds, defeating LowHigh, who is the current Tekken World Tour champion. JeonDDing is now qualified for the TWT Finals 2026 and can make another assault on the title, having finished second in 2022.

Street Fighter 6

Winner: Dual Kevin (USA)

Qualified for Capcom Cup 13

Street Fighter 6 was the final game of the night, and it was more than worth the wait, producing some of the most incredible results of the tournament, including an all-timer of a set between Problem-X and Kobayan.

Every set was incredible, and there were a whopping eight sets that ended 3-2. For context, there were 10 sets on the night in total, meaning 80% of the matches went down to the wire.

Dual Kevin snagged his first-ever Evo win over Japanese player and fellow Crazy Raccoon colleague Tachikawa, who was also on hand to claim his first-ever Evo win.

Tachikawa had the French crowd behind him and had first defeated Punk, who had been something of a bracket demon for him. But against Dual Kevin, even after forcing a bracket reset, the American was able to clinch the victory.

This means both players are qualified for Capcom Cup 13, with Dual Kevin earning his spot via the tournament win while Tachikawa’s second-place finish nets him enough points to make it through the global leaderboard.

Evo France 2026 was everything it promised to be, and it bodes well for the future of the competition as we await the huge expansion the Evo franchise will bring in 2027.
