Guilty Gear Strive Matchup Theme Song Voting Results

A little while ago, Arc System Works celebrated 5 years of Guilty Gear Strive and ran a little survey to get a general temperature check of the audience.

However, aside from the usual questions about the things you like, don't like, or wish to see in the game, there was also an option to vote for a whole new theme song.

Specifically a matchup theme song, something that was generally reserved only for something as climactic as Sol vs Ky matches.

With Strive, it seems like ASW wants to make this a more prominent feature, so there already 4 songs currently in the pipeline, with those being:

• Sol vs Ky
• Millia vs Zato-1
• Asuka vs Happy Chaos
• Ramlethal vs Elphelt

The vote presented people with 4 more options, with Sol vs Asuka winning with huge lead. The full voting results look like this:

• Sol vs Asuka - 6,170 votes
• Bridget vs Unika - 4,619 votes
• Axl vs I-No - 3,000 votes
• Nagoriyuki vs Slayer - 2,745 votes

Unfortunately, it's going to be a while before Sol vs Asuka theme gets added to the game along the 4 other songs, as we're gonna have to wait until Spring 2027.
