From the very beginning it was clear that NIP, Aegis and MOUZ would make playoffs and it was simply a question of what position each team will end up in. What many might not have considered is how absolutely cracked NIP is with their five results so far being wins including a devastating 40-0 win over team Aegis. They have looked untouchable so far with AngryBirdwinning the MVP for the first leg of the league.
NIP is so cracked that their team order has basically been the same bar the very first match where Big Bird went first. But since then, it has been Phenom, Big Bird, and AngryBird and they have almost always gotten the wins.
Day 5 was a show of the absolute dominance of the top half of the league with all of NIP, Aegis, and MOUZ winning their games 40-0. It is likely this dominance continues into the second half of the season with the only question being who the 4th placed team will be. It is currently Wolves, but there is a chance that Reason or Guild, could take that spot.
This clear dominance does take away a little from the spectacle, but it is hoped that this will be a catalyst to level up in Street Fighter 6 in Europe so that the league can feel more competitive.
