Ninjas In Pajamas Add Phenom, Veggey And Bilal To Roster

Street Fighter pro players Phenom and Veggey and Tekken pro, Bilal, have found a new home with Ninjas in Pajamas having announced that they will be joining the team. 

Phenom and Veggey parted ways with 00 Nation recently when the team decided to focus their attention away from fighting games. But, they have now found a new team with Ninjas in Pajamas, a legendary Swedish organization who have been around since 2000 and have won multiple tournaments. NIP are making their first foray into fighting games, a trend that has been on the rise lately, and competing in Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8, have picked up some of Europe and Pakistan's best players. 

According to a statement released on NIP's website, they explained that they are venturing into fighting games in keeping with their commitment to connect fans across the world and in the words of their CEO, Hicham Chahine, "We've always been about pushing boundaries and embracing new challenges. The fighting game community represents a vibrant and passionate corner of the esports world, and we're excited to join the fray. This expansion not only diversifies our portfolio but also reflects our commitment to staying at the forefront of competitive gaming."

This should mean that when Street Fighter League Europe rolls back around, Ninjas in Pajamas will be one of the teams lining up.

Bilal is also a highly decorated player who has a lot of Tekken tournaments under his belt, all three will be incredible additions to the NIP team.
