Mikey & Draken Arrive in Fatal Fury: CotW With Animated Trailer

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves has released an animated trailer accompanying the arrival of new characters Manjiro ‘Mikey’ Sano and Ken ‘Draken’ Ryuguji from the popular manga and anime series Tokyo Revengers.

The characters are shown arriving in South Town to participate in the King of Fighters tournament and are greeted at the venue by none other than Terry Bogard and Rock Howard, with the latter specifically taking on Mikey in the ring.

Mikey and Draken also join the game with exclusive costumes inspired by Terry and Rock. Mikey’s look is specifically similar to Terry’s, while Draken has an outfit inspired by Rock.

The release of the two characters comes in time for the launch of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves on the Switch 2. The Switch 2 has already successfully ported Street Fighter 6 and, after an initially rough period for Mortal Kombat 1, was also able to deliver a decent port of that game. It is hoped that the port for City of the Wolves will also be well received, but that will become clear in time.

With the two delinquents from Tokyo Revengers now in the game, all eyes turn to the next character on the roadmap, Laocorn Gaudeamus, who will arrive in November. Laocorn will be making his first appearance in an SNK game, having previously appeared only as a villain in the animated Fatal Fury movie.

Mikey and Draken are now in the game, and we await the player base’s verdict on the two characters.
