As 2023 has come to an end, Metacritic sums it up by publishing best-reviewed releases for each of the most popular console platforms. We've already told you about Nintendo Switch and Xbox lists. Now it's time to look at the twenty best PlayStation releases of 2023, according to professional reviewers.

Baldur's Gate 3 unsurprisingly takes the first place with a whopping 96 points out of 100. And in top-5, we also have the Street Fighter 6. The Capcom game is placed in fourth place with 92/100 and lost only to the bestseller from Larian Studios, Tetris Effect: Connected and Resident Evil 4.
