Meet The DashFight Family
So, what makes DashFight tick? Who are the brains (and brawn) behind your number one fighting game multiverse?

DashFight is made up of a diverse cast of characters who have come together to make this project work. As a way to celebrate DashFight's first anniversary, we thought to give everyone a sneak peek into the inner workings of the organization. Who has listened to Aimer a whopping 75,000 times? Who has 15 years of experience practicing yoga? And who is the teammate who always roots for the villain because she believes they can change? You'll be amazed by some of the things the team gets up to.

So without further ado, let's get to meet the DashFight team.

Development & Design

Let's start off with Development and Design. They are the guys responsible for adding new features to the website and ensuring that everything works as it should. Things like the search function, or customized news feeds, and the like are the work of the development team. Acting as the yin to their yang is the design team that ensures that users have the most excellent of experiences on the website. They ensure that everything looks impeccable and attractive. Think of it like a candy factory. In this analogy, the development and design team create the candy wrapper and put all the glossy designs on it that make it visually appealing to the consumer.

Abilities and stats

  • Immortality — If there's a crunch or deadline, certain teammates have the uncanny ability to stay alive, sane, and happy.

  • Master hand — most teammates can develop amazing features and deliver them on time.

  • Snake charmer — certain teammates can be very persuasive.

  • Tomb Raider — certain teammates can get rid of bugs.

Ultimate ability

The Cat lover — certain teammates can have cats despite being allergic to them

Marketing and PR

Where would we be without marketing and PR? DashFight is a community-based platform and therefore, has a responsibility to manage and grow its community responsibly. Marketing helps in this as they ensure that we get our work out there. The excellent PR team also manages our relationship with the outside world. Not only do they keep us on the right side of the tracks, but they also market fighting games and the entire FGC to partners, sponsors, and so on. Their love for fighting games is genuine and this is evident in how dedicatedly they preach the fighting game gospel. In our candy factory analogy, marketing and PR are responsible for selling the candy and ensuring that people continue to have positive opinions on the candy.

Abilities and stats

  • Sleepless — during tournament periods, most teammates sleep only three hours a day but get the job done.

  • 5th element — certain teammates can make ideas happen.

  • Keymaker — certain teammates can expertly use keywords to fight for top 10 spots on Google search.

  • Big Data — certain teammates can understand raw data and stats with relative ease.

Ultimate ability

Party lover — certain teammates can throw themed parties only and somehow still have friends.

Editorial & Content

Ah! They make the candy, don't they? The content and editorial create content for the website and scout for information from every nook and crevice the world has to offer. The content team provides data on teams, players, tournaments, and every other important metric within the FGC. Meanwhile, the editorial team creates textual and video content including news pieces, interviews, guides, and other resources a reader might have need of. They create the candy, put in all the nutrients, and all that.

Abilities and stats

  • Nocturnal animal — certain teammates can work at night efficiently.

  • Sensei — most teammates can write good guides on fighting games.

  • One-man band — certain teammates are good both at writing and performing on Social Media (YouTube, TikTok).

  • Living the dream — most teammates love fighting games and love writing about them.

Ultimate ability

J-pop lover — a certain teammate has listened to the Japanese singer Aimer more than 75,000 times.

CEO & HR

The CEO (Chief Executing Officer) is the big boss in charge of the company's vision. He says where we go and what to do. He is the original Candyman. Meanwhile, HR makes Candy Land habitable for everyone. They keep all we Oompa Loompas in line and even send us to the naughty corner if necessary.

Abilities and stats

  • Meditation — certain teammates can keep calm in ‘We're all gonna die’ situations.

  • Muse — during team building frame, certain teammates can make a party fun and entertaining.

Ultimate ability

Joda — most teammates can feel the force in job applicants.
