KOF XV: Team Samurai Release Date Revealed, New Trailer Published

First announced at Evo 2022 during the finals, SNK have released a new trailer for the latest team to join the roster, Team Samurai. 

Made up of Haohmaru from Samurai Showdown,  Nakoruru, and Darli Dagger, Team Samurai will be joining the game next week. The trailer was released on YouTube, and we got a glimpse of what the characters will be capable of. For Haohmaru, he seems like a classic rushdown character with a lot of his trademark moves making their way into the game. Older fighting game heads might remember how terrifying Nakoruru was in KOF XIV, and it would seem like she is bringing back the fear factor while Darli Dagger rounds out the team looking slick with her big-hitting moves that should make for some entertaining compilation videos.

As regards the release date, SNK's official Twitter account posted a tweet in which they said Team Samurai would be usable from the 4th of October 2022. With the announcement of Team Samurai, fans can now start looking forward to Season two of the game which was also announced at Evo, and the addition of further characters, including favorites like Shingo Yabuki.
