Japanese PC Company, Sycom, Debut Esports Team
They went for four promising players from Japan

A computer manufacturing company, Sycom, based in Japan, have announced the establishment of a fighting game division to compete in esports competitions.

They kicked off with a Street Fighter 6 team, signing some promising talent including Orarin, Zabuton, Pipokun, and Imai. Their aim is to compete in the biggest competitions and go for glory.

Sycom released a statement in which they explained their reasoning behind this huge move. For them who have been at the background supporting both teams and tournaments as a sponsor, the SF6 community is now at a mature stage with what looks like a sustainable esports ecosystem which means they can move in and begin activities.

Possible Ramifications For Street Fighter League Japan?

With the announcement of a new team, maybe we can see a situation where Sycom puts in an application to participate in Street Fighter League Japan following the disbandment of CAG Osaka.

Sycom are based in Saitama, and will be looking to strengthen the SF6 competitive ecosystem with youthful energy and the courage to keep fighting.
