Red Bull Revenge Announces Four Grudge Matches for Tokyo Game Show
8 of Street Fighter 6's top players will come together for some matches with intense history behind them

The full Red Bull Revenge lineup has been revealed, with four mouthwatering clashes available for fans to sink their teeth into.

The matches are:

  • Big Bird vs. Bonchan
  • Tokido vs. MenaRD
  • Sahara vs. Blaz
  • Kawano vs. LeShar

The Red Bull Revenge matches are a set of exhibition games to be played during the upcoming Tokyo Game Show, which pits two players with some competitive history against each other in a grudge match.

Each match will be a FT5, with the winner earning bragging rights for defeating their illustrious opponent.

All the matches are runbacks of classic matches from history. For instance, Tokido and MenaRD have a long history going all the way back to 2017, when MenaRD won his first Capcom Cup as a teenager. On the day, his historic win came against a Tokido who was at the peak of his powers, having won Evo that year and dominated various tournaments. Tokido might be a 41-year-old veteran now, but having just won CEO 2026, there is no question about his ability even after all these years.

Blaz vs. Sahara is a modern classic that really came to a head when the two faced off during Capcom Cup, with Sahara needing a three-game straight win to take the set, which had been 3-2 in Blaz's favor beforehand.

LeShar and Kawano have played each other three times in Street Fighter 6, with LeShar just edging the rivalry with two wins to one defeat. Both are Evo winners, although Kawano's Evo win came in Street Fighter V. They are also rivals in Street Fighter League, where LeShar, until this season, represented REJECT, while Kawano has been a stalwart with Good 8 Squad, even helping them to victory in the SFL World Championship against FlyQuest a couple of years ago.

All of these matches will be tantalizing and will be available both on-site and on Red Bull's YouTube and Twitch channels.

The Tokyo Game Show is set to take place between September 17 and 21, 2026.
