IBUSHIGIN Lock In Street Fighter 6 Roster for 2026 SFL Run
IBUSHIGIN are back — and they're betting on stability

The Japanese esports organization has confirmed their Street Fighter 6 lineup for 2026, revealing that the roster heading into Street Fighter League Japan will remain unchanged from last year. 2Bassa, Johnny, Torimeshi, and Yanai are all staying put as IBUSHIGIN look to make a serious statement in their third SFL season.

A Rebuild Forged in Chaos

The decision to hold the roster together carries real weight given what the organization went through in 2025. After a promising playoff run in 2024, IBUSHIGIN were gutted by departures — captain Kakeru moved to ZETA DIVISION, CoSa was signed by Saishunkan Sol Kumamoto, and Sasamo departed at contract's end before later landing at IGZIST. The fallout was brutal. IBUSHIGIN finished bottom of League F and missed the playoffs entirely.

Yanai, the one constant through the rebuild, now plays the role of captain for the team. With a full year together already behind them, their stability could be their greatest asset.

A Season of Ups and Downs  Awaits In SFL S9

SFL Japan enters its 9th season with some questions still hanging about. For instance, CAG Osaka's departure has left a roster spot in the league yet to be filled and teams are already applying to be the latest debutants in SFL. However, IBUSHIGIN aren't waiting on that noise. They've made their move early, and expect other organizations to follow with their own 2026 roster announcements in the weeks ahead.
