iDom Looks To Switch From Manon To Zangief In Street Fighter 6

Former Capcom Cup champion, iDom, might be making a character switch to boost his winning chances in Street Fighter 6. 

iDom has always been something of a pseudo grappler with his choice of character. In Street Fighter V, he used Laura, who was essentially a grappler, and Poison who was a space controller. In Street Fighter 6, iDom has been one of very few high-level Manon users but has only had limited success with the character with his best placement so far being a second-place finish at East Coast Throwdown where he lost to Itabashi Zangief. 

In the wake of that, iDom released a video in which he announced that he would be maining Zangief. In the video, he talked about some of the really positive aspects of the character and with fears that Manon might be nerfed again, it would be good to have another viable character. 

This seems par for the course for iDom who used Laura and Posion at almost the same high level meaning he could switch at will and still be as competitive. If he uses the same strategy here, it could be that he would use Manon and Zangief at the same high level and this could boost his performances. 

MenaRD added Zangief to his roster of characters and won the Cream City Convergence, and with Itazan also winning ECT, it is clear that Zangief can hang with the best of them. 

It would be a shame if Zangief is also nerfed further in the next patch.
