Street Fighter 6 Is Testing New Battle Hub Stream Feature
The huge display in the battle hub will now do more than serve you ads.

I think all of us who visited the Battle Hub in Street Fighter 6 had the same thought at least once. You have this huge screen in the center of the room, a whole lot of seats in front of it, characters that can do emotes, and even chat.

It feels like a perfect set up for watch parties whenever any sort of big Street Fighter competition comes around. And yet, that screen pretty much never has anything interesting. It usually just looks some basic hub info, the trailers, and on occasion some special event promos, but it's never something that would compel you and others to sit down and watch.

Seems like after two years Capcom also realized how big of a missed opportunity this is, and are looking to fix it.

In a few minutes, and for the next several hours, you should see the broadcast go live in the Battle Hub, and apparently it will be heard regardless where you are. Though likely with some degree of positional audio.

Battle Hub already proved itself to be a bit of a fun hangout spot, but if this all goes through and works well, it would go a long way in making it seem more special, more sociable, and more fun to hang out in. Especially whenever the big events like Capcom Cup are happening.
