Gamers wait for announcement of update to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

The legendary character Super Mario will soon celebrate his 35th birthday. As such, fans expect Nintendo Direct to put this event first. Rumors are circulating in the gaming community that this event may be displayed in an update for Super Smash Bros Ultimate.

One of the main reasons fans believe it is supposed to happen has to do with the game's schedule of events. Smash players can expect weekly events from Nintendo, whether it's a weekly tournament or a special Spirit event. However, there were no event announcements this week.
