Evo 2025: 17-Year-Old Player From Hong Kong Making Waves For SF6
He's the latest prodigy to hit the game

Every year there seems to be a young player that just comes and takes the whole community by storm. In recent years, this was the path that the likes of EndingWalker, Zhen, Blaz, and Craime had walked.

Now a new youngster seems to have joined the ranks in the person of Micky.

This so-far unknown player shocked the world after defeating Torimeshi to make his way into top 8 at his first ever overseas tournament.

Before Torimeshi, a top Japanese Dhalsim, Micky had taken out EndingWalker, Vxbao, Shine, and many more in his path to top 8. He's from Hong Kong and seems to have been posting results only from last year.

Interestingly, Micky has also qualified for the Esports World Cup as he is the highest placing individual at Evo that hasn't already qualified for the event.

With the popularity of Street Fighter 6, more and more players have been popping up, showing themselves to be strong and bringing even more eyes to the game. With Micky in top 8, anything can happen.
