We will certainly have more events in the World Tour 2023/2024
This league keeps the competitive fire for DBFZ burning. The game is rather in the late stages of its lifespan. The last balance adjustment happens at the end of August. The rollback netcode remains in the dimension of promises. So, the World Tour gives an essential motivation for esports professionals to fight.
The league started with an amazing Power+ event at Evo 2023, and the Champion, Hikari, has already got a spot in the Finals. Winners of the following Power events also get their “ticket” to the upcoming Global Finals. All the others have to earn league points — in the official and community tournaments.
Now, Bandai Namco has started accepting applications for Tenkaichi Tournaments.
It is sure news for tournament organizers and active people in the DBFZ community. And also, it’s an extra signal for the players to start searching for these smaller events — to participate in as many as possible and to increase their chances of qualifying for the Global Final.
The points distribution has been described in our post with the DBFZ World Tour 2023/2024 announcement. In a nutshell — the more people gather to play, the more points top competitors get.
The next Power event is right around the corner. It’s the DBFZ tournament at VSFighting XI that happens in Birmingham, the UK, on August 18-20. Stay tuned to DashFight for the full coverage of the World Tour and for everything exciting around Dragon Ball FighterZ and fighting exports in general.
