Thanks to the new series, we have a very good idea how World Tour Mode in Street Fighter 6 would look
Capcom has released the first of four YouTube videos which will give fans a glimpse into the world tour mode of Street Fighter 6.
The highly anticipated game comes out in a couple of months, and Capcom has been expertly drip-feeding fans with bits of content to build up hype and expectation for the new and ambitious game.
One of the aspects of Street Fighter 6 that fans are most interested in trying out is the World Tour mode which has been said to be an open-world system that will allow for players to explore as they please while picking up moves from various Street Fighter icons.
The series titled Krystal Noda goes! Street Fighter 6 World Tour Vol.1, is the first of four videos that feature Japanese actor and acclaimed Street Fighter fan Krystal Noda as he tries out the World Tour mode with the help of Street Fighter 6 producer Shuhei Matsumoto.
Sneak Peek into SF6 World Tour In the video (it's all in Japanese), Noda sits down with Matsumoto and boots up the game, goes through avatar creation, and then gets started. In the video, we get a good deal of content that reveals hows World Tour mode will start. As we all know, Luke is the instructor of all new players, but we got extra footage of some of the things that the player will be requested to do starting out. The first task is to run around the room, which is to teach new players the very basics.
Next, we use some basic moves against Luke. It was pointed out in the video that players will be able to use modern controls in World Tour mode. While you will also be able to use Classic Controls, Matsumoto advised that for a newcomer, Modern Controls would be the way to go.
Once this is accomplished, we are met with a challenge by Luke's other student and our rival, Bosch.
Players will then need to fight against Bosch in a single-round battle which seems to end in a draw. Then Luke tells you guys to shake hands and get along, which Bosch is initially reluctant to do, but then simmers down. At this point, Luke ushers the two of you outside the training room and into the streets.
The video comes to an end at this point, and we get a preview where it seems we'll get to observe more of Bosch and see how the open world starts out.
With what we have seen so far, the remaining three videos would be even more enlightening, and we can't wait to see them when they are released.
