Blaz From Chile Becomes The Youngest Qualifier For Capcom Cup
Blaz (Left) Craime (Right)
The kid is a prodigy

Blaz, a 15-year-old Street Fighter 6 player has become the youngest ever qualifier for Capcom Cup after he won his region's (South America East) World Warrior tournament placing top with 235 points ahead of Capcom Cup veteran, Dookie, who has 175 points.

Blaz has been playing Street Fighter since he was 12 starting with Street Fighter V where he was very impressive. Moving over to SF6, he has been a wonder to behold dominating the CPT (he placed first 4 out of 5 times) and also winning the Never Give Up tournament held in his country, Chile.

Chile has been churning out some really impressive players like the Martinez brothers (Nicolas and Scorpionprocs) in Mortal Kombat and Craime in Street Fighter. The next generation of talent is truly promising.

The youngest before Blaz to qualify for Capcom Cup was EndingWalker who was 16 at the time. But, doing it at 15 makes Blaz the new record holder. Coincidentally, both players use Ed.
