Bandai Namco Formalizes Dedicated Nintendo Development Studio
Bandai Namco is positioned to develop more hit games as an official Nintendo partner

Video game publisher Bandai Namco has officially established Studio 2 and Studio S, a dedicated internal development team focused on creating games in collaboration with Nintendo. While the studio has been actively working with Nintendo for years, it is now being formally organized and branded.

Studio 2 & Studio S comprises 152 employees, including a substantial 32% recent graduates. This allows the studio to blend experienced game development professionals with fresh young talent. The team has contributed to several of Nintendo's most popular and acclaimed titles, with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate being the most notable, alongside other Super Smash Bros. games and more.

Bandai Namco is signaling its commitment to Nintendo by formalizing a dedicated team of developers focused solely on co-creating games for Nintendo platforms. With a proven track record on major Nintendo franchises, Studio 2 and Studio S seem well positioned to develop more hit games as an official Nintendo partner.
