Arslan Ash Appears On Vegas Sphere

Tekken legend Arslan Ash was showcased on the Vegas sphere over the weekend as a part of the advertising campaign for the Esports World Cup holding in Dubai later this year. 

The tournament which has a $60 million prize pool will feature several games including Starcraft and DOTA. However, the most excitement for the FGC is the inclusion of fighting games like Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8. 

As part of the campaign, a video was advertised on the Vegas Sphere showcasing all the games and Arslan Ash was the player selected as the Tekken 8 face. 

This is a huge achievement for the FGC with advertising space at the Sphere costing as high as $500,000 and having a fighting game player posted there. 

The world cup in Dubai looks like it will be huge with so many games and players converging on what will easily be the largest prize pool in fighting game history. The world cup is a push by Saudi Arabia to become more involved in sports and establish themselves as a tourist destination and a global power.
