An SF6 Tier List by Japanese Esports Professionals

Street Fighter 6 is traditionally very popular in Japan. Moreover, the game is played slightly differently in its homeland — even such pro players as Angry Bird travel to that country to compete and probably learn something new.

It’s pretty interesting to follow the Japanese vision of this game, for example, through local tournaments or through tier lists built by well-known Japanese competitors.

One such opportunity occurred thanks to a common stream by Haitani, John Takeuchi, and Shuto. They gathered to discuss the real power and abilities of Street Fighter 6 characters.

The video is in Japanese and has no translation (yet?). But we certainly can jump closer to the end to check out the final tier list.

The players put three characters into the S tier: JP, Chun-LI, and Luke. 

Ryu, Jamie, Dhalsim, and Zangief are in the lowest tier.

A bit earlier, another Japanese fighting esports player shared his two tier lists. Nemo placed SF6 characters in categories for tournament and normal play. His top tier has more fighters.
