The leader of the Black Dragon clan, he is a ruthless scoundrel and archnemesis to Sonya Blade and the Special Forces.

Kano debuted as one of the few original characters in the first Mortal Kombat game. Kano is more than just a brutal and aggressive mercenary; he is also the leader of the international crime cartel known as the Black Dragon. His ability to see the humorous side of even the most dire situations is one of his most distinguishing characteristics. Since his first appearance, he has been a recurring antagonist in the series, and his assortment of dirty fighting techniques perfectly matches his unpleasant persona.
